What is high blood glucose (sugar)?
High blood glucose, or high blood sugar, is called hyperglycemia. It is when your blood glucose is above 180 mg/dL.
Your blood glucose might be high if you:
- feel thirsty
- pee often
- have dry skin or dry mouth
- feel fatigued (tired)
- are nauseous
- have blurry vision
If you think your blood glucose level is too high, use a blood glucose meter to check it.
