What should I do if I take the wrong insulin?

Write down:

• the name of the insulin you took

• how much you took 

• what time you took it. 

Next, check your blood glucose.

Then, call your healthcare team and share this information with them. They will tell you what you should do next. 

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the emergency room right away.
